Roulette is really not a hard game to play. You place your bets and watch the ball spin around the wheel hoping and praying that it lands where you wagered it would. To play roulette, the only thing you really need to learn is how to bet.
The simplest roulette bet is also the most common; the single wager. With a single bet, you predict that the ball will land on one specific number. A split wager improves on the single in that it lets you bet on two adjacent numbers. The trio wager sees you betting on three numbers that are conjoining, and the four numbers wager gives a person the option to bet on four touching numbers.
Moving along with the multi-number bets, a street wager lets a person bet on three numbers in a line and a line wager gives a person two street wagers for their bet. A dozen wager let’s someone bet on the first 12 numbers, middle 12 numbers, or last set of 12 numbers. The biggest bets cover almost half the wheel's slots. High and low wagers let you bet on the first or last 18 numbers. Red/black wagers let you bet on all slots of a certain color, and odd/even wagers are self-explanatory.
Mobile Roulette Strategy
Anyone that claims that they can beat Roulette with a system is lying. There is no such thing as a no-fail Roulette system and not buying this type of garbage is the first thing you can do to avoid unnecessary losses while playing mobile Roulette.
The next thing you can do to minimize your losses is to learn the odds and payouts for each bet. Going in ascending order: single wagers pay off 35 to 1, split wagers pay 17 to 1, trio wagers give winners 11 to 1 payouts, street wagers have an 8 to 1 pay rate. Continuing with the better odds (and lower payouts) a line wager pays 5 to 1, a dozen wager pays out 2 to 1, and high/low, black/red, and even/odd wagers pay 1 to 1.
While there's nothing you can do to consistently beat the wheel, there is one wheel that's more generous than the other. The 37-slot European wheel has a significant advantage over the 38-slot American wheel. A one square difference may not sound like much, but it gives American Roulette a house edge that's almost twice as much as European Roulette's. That adds up in the long run.
While European Roulette can be hard to find in American casinos, it's not hard to find when playing online or mobile Roulette. Playing these versions of the game also gives you access to free Roulette, which can be a wonderful learning tool for new players.
